At I Am Learning Academy, our curriculum for grades K-5 is thoughtfully designed to inspire a love for learning while nurturing spiritual, academic, and personal growth. We emphasize Islamic Studies to build a strong foundation in faith, values, and character. For grades K-5, we provide a strong foundation in Islamic Studies, focusing on faith, values, and character development. Phonics, reading, and language arts build literacy, comprehension, and communication skills, while math emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical applications. Science sparks curiosity through hands-on experiments and exploration of the natural world, and geography helps students develop an understanding of cultures, environments, and global connections. Kindergarten

Islamic Studies: Introduction to basic Islamic beliefs, memorization of short surahs and duas, and learning daily prayers.

Phonics: Learning letter sounds, blends, and simple word decoding.

Reading: Developing listening and pre-reading skills through storytime and picture books.

Language Arts: Recognizing letters, building simple sentences, and exploring early writing.

Math: Counting, number recognition, basic shapes, and simple addition.

Spelling: Introduction to sight words and simple spelling patterns.

Science: Exploring the senses, weather, plants, and animals through hands-on activities.

Geography: Identifying basic landforms and learning about the local community.
